A woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after a baby was found in a park in Blackpool.
At around 7am yesterday morning (24.7.16) officers received a report that a member of public had found a seven month old baby girl in an upturned pram in Watson Road Park.
Following extensive enquiries the baby’s mother was traced at an address in the town, along with her daughter.
The baby and the girl have been checked over and are safe and well.
A woman from Blackpool has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect and is currently in custody.
Enquiries are on-going.
