Rising stars The Tide will join dance group Diversity at the first ever UK Nickelodeon SLIMEFEST on Saturday, 3rd September, 2016. Hosted by Diversity’s Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, SLIMEFEST is a slime-soaked musical festival featuring top musical acts, skits, stars and more. Tickets for both the 11am and 5:30pm SLIMEFEST concerts are available now at Ticketmaster.

“Slimefest is going to be amazing; we cannot wait to see our UK fans in Blackpool and experience the slime and mayhem for ourselves,” said Drew Dirksen, The Tide.

The Tide are Drew Dirksen (lead guitar & vocals), Levi Jones (bass & vocals) Austin Corini (guitar & lead vocals) and Nate Parker (drums). The band formed one year ago after finding each other on You Tube and most recently, have been supporting The Vamps on tour. Their first single, ‘Young Love’, was released in March with the new single ‘Click My Fingers’ set for release in August. The Tide have announced dates for their UK tour with many concerts already sold out.

The SLIMEFEST concerts take place on Saturday, 3rd September at the Empress Ballroom in the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. In addition to the two ticketed identical live shows, SLIMEFEST features a free outdoor experience including character appearances and family activities on the Tower Festival Headland on both Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September.
