Blackpool North & Cleveleys MP launches a new website to report potholes for repair.

The Government has recently announced a huge injection of money into local councils to help fix the many potholes that have developed across the constituency. Lancashire County Council has been given enough money to repair 92,000 potholes and Blackpool has been given enough to fix around 3,000 potholes. The website - www.potholereporting.net - makes it easy for local residents to directly indentify the location of the pothole which can then in turn be sent to the relevant authority to be fixed.

Commenting Paul says,

"I launched this website as I want to make sure this new Government money is spent on fixing the potholes here in Blackpool North & Cleveleys. If I know where they are I can then report directly to the council concerned and it is then up to them to fill in the pothole. I would urge people to let me know where they are in their road or on their way to work and then I can have something done about it."
