Police have released details of a new sighting of a man who has been missing for over a month.



Stephen Walker, 49, was seen by a member of the public on Wednesday (September 14th) at Minters Car Wash on Back West Crescent in St Annes.

Prior to that he was last seen at his home address at around 7am on Burnley Road East in Waterfoot on Tuesday, August 9th. His family still haven’t seen or heard from him since then.

Sgt 3016 Lee Turner said “We hope that this sighting will mean that people in St Annes and the surrounding areas are on the lookout for Stephen as we, and his family, are still very concerned for him.

“If you have seen him or you know where he is, please make contact with us.

“Similarly I urge Stephen himself if he sees this appeal to get in touch with us or a family member to let us know he is okay.”

Stephen is described as white, 5ft 8ins, medium build with blue eyes, thinning grey hair, a goatee beard, a tanned complexion and cropped hair.

He is known to have links to St Annes or Blackpool area and could be travelling in a red Fiat Stilo with the registration PY02 ULT.
