An investigation is underway following several reports of indecent exposure in Blackpool.



The victims, all aged between 11 and 14, have been targeted between June and August.

Around 6.50pm on June 18, a man exposed himself to three girls in Marton Drive. The offender was described as white, bald, aged 30 to 40-years-old wearing an orange t-shirt, jeans and a shoulder bag.

Ten minutes later a man followed two girls in the Hawes Side Lane area before exposing himself. He was described as white, bald, aged 40, with blue shorts and a black backpack.

A third offence was reported to police on July 2 outside Palatine Library in St Annes Road. A man followed two girls from Watson Road Park around 7pm before exposing himself. He was described as white, bald, aged in his mid-30s, with a dark jacket, blue jeans, white trainers and black shoulder strap.

Between 1.15pm and 1.55pm on July 9, a man approached three girls in Bloomfield Road and exposed himself to them. He was described as white, bald, with a dark hoodie, blue jeans and shoulder bag.

The final offence is alleged to have taken place around 8.30pm on Tuesday (August 15) when a man has exposed himself to two girls in Grasmere Road. He was described as wearing a white top with brown shorts, aged in his 30s with no hair.

Police are appealing for information and have released CCTV images in connection with the incidents in St Annes Road and Bloomfield Road (pictured).

Sgt Phil Palmer, of Blackpool Police, said: “These are clearly very shocking and alarming offences where young girls have been approached by a man who has then exposed himself.

“The victims involved have been left upset and distressed and we want to find the person responsible as soon as possible.

“Police are pursuing positive lines of enquiry at this time, including CCTV images from the time of the offences in St Annes Road and Bloomfield Road.
