Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Blackpool.

At around 12.30am on Sunday, June 12 a 37-year-old man was chased from Church Street, over the road near the end of Grosvenor Street, past the Salvation Army building and on to Leamington Road before he ended up on Lincoln Road where he was assaulted by two men.



He sustained a broken jaw and two fractured ribs as a result of the attack and was taken for treatment at Royal Preston Hospital.

DC Paul Morris of Blackpool CID said: “We are keen to trace the two men responsible for this attack and I would urge anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and may have witnessed anything that could help with our enquiries to contact us. If anyone saw the victim being chased prior to the attack, or indeed the assault itself, please do get in touch with us.”
