Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 50-year-old man from Standish, Wigan.

Andrew Carter was last seen shortly after 10am on Tuesday 21 June 2016 in the Chorley Road area of Standish

He is described as white, around 5ft7in tall, of slim build and with shaved grey hair and wearing glasses.

Andrew was last seen wearing blue jeans, black boots, a grey hoodie and a black t-shirt. He was also wearing a dog-tag style chain with his personal details on.

Andrew’s car, a red Ford Fiesta, registration number RA03 FZX, is also missing.

Anyone with any information about Andrew’s whereabouts or who may have seen his car is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 867/210616
