Shoppers in Blackpool have had to run for cover as massive glass panes fell from a shop frontage.



It happened on the corner of Bank hey Street and Victoria Street.

Police were called to the scene amid reports the panels had possibly injured passers by.

More glass panels remained in place three metres above the footpath but fire crews were called to remove them.
