An exhibition outlining the proposals for the tramway extension from North Pier to Blackpool North train station is now open at Central Library.
Members of the public are encouraged to provide their views on the proposals for the scheme.
Anyone wanting to provide feedback can complete a feedback form and post it into a ballot box at the library. Alternatively, they can fill out a ‘Have Your Say’ form available on the council’s website.
Brochures containing details of the proposed extension will be available from the
exhibition and can be accessed online: www.blackpool.gov.uk/TramwayExtension
Construction on the tramway extension is expected to start in 2018, with development of a new tramway terminal set to be ready in line with the completion of the scheme.
