Campaigners say they're furious that a controversial proposal to build 165 homes in Thornton which hundreds of people objected to has been given the go ahead.
Wain Homes has been given permission to build on land near Lambs Road.
Wyre Council initially rejected the plans, but the decision has been overturned on appeal by the Government Inspector.
Leader of Wyre Council, Peter Gibson, has expressed his anger and also dismissed claims that they could have done more to stop the appeal from being successful.
